Hon. Jika was born in 1976 in Bauchi State, Nigeria.

Hon. Jika is a devote Muslim. He is also married and blessed with children.

 

 

EDUCATION

In 1999, Hon. Jika obtained the West African Senior Certificate (WASC) from Sardauna Memorial College in Kaduna, Kaduna State.

 

He thereafter obtained a National Diploma in Civil Engineering from the Kaduna Polytechnic in 2003.

 

CAREER

Hon. Jika served two terms as a member of the Bauchi State House of Assembly from 2007 to 2011. During this period he was also the Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly.

 

 

He was also chairman of the selection/establishment committee and chairman transition committee for works and rural development.

 

 

He was also the coordinator and chairman National Youth Vanguard, Bauchi State.

 

In 2015, Hon. Jika was elected to represent Darazo/Ganjuwa Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Abuja, under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

His legislative interest is to ensure that the people’s interest is well captured while he also hopes to ensure efficient representation and law making that will be effective and efficient to Nigeria.
