Kano gov-elect visits renowned journalist, Jaafar Jaafar, in London (+PHOTOS)

Kano State governor-elect, Abba Yusuf, on Saturday visited renowned journalist, Jaafar Jaafar, in London, United Kingdom.

Yusuf, who made this known in a tweet on his verified Twitter handle on Saturday night, expressed delight over the visit.

He said : ” It was delightful to visit the ace journalist and Editor of @daily_nigerian, @JaafarSJaafar, today, at his London residence.”

Kabir, who emerged victorious in the March 18 Kano  gubernatorial election under the platform of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), also shared pictures from the visit.

PlatinumPost reports that Jaafar reportedly fled Nigeria a few years ago after he suffered a series of political intimidations and security threats.

Jaafar, who is the founder of Daily Nigerian, an online publication company, served as Special Assistant on Media and Public Relations to former governor Rabiu Kwankwaso between 2011 and 2015.
