Sudan’s war: Another batch of stranded Nigerians arrive Abuja

Another batch of Nigerians who fled war-torn Sudan has returned to the country.
They returned two days after the first set of evacuees came back to the country via Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Wednesday.
A total of 130 evacuees returned to Abuja on Friday afternoon.

PlatinumPost reports that the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) had in an update on Friday morning said the affected Nigerians left Port Sudan International Airport today, at 8:00am local time.
“Evacuation update
” Left Port Sudan International Airport today, 5th May, 2023, at 8:00am local time, with 130 Nigerian nationals (Evacuees) 128 females and 2 males.
Estimated time of arrival
Port Sudan (PZU) to Juba (JUB) 2hrs 50 min
Stop over 1 hrs in Juba
JUB to ABV = 03:30 min
Total = 7hrs 30min
The flight is expected to arrive in Abuja around 2:30 pm to 3 pm, ” NIDCOM had said.
