Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has arrived at the court of appeal in Abuja for the hearing of a post-election dispute.

Obi had filed an application seeking to inspect sensitive materials used by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the conduct of the February 25 elections.

The electoral body had however said it needs to reprogramme the bimodal voter accreditation system (BVAS) ahead of the March 11 elections.

Obi was accompanied to court by Julius Abure, the party’s national chairman.

Obi had earlier cancelled his campaign tour for the governorship and state assembly candidates of the party, saying he’s heading to court to reclaim his “stolen mandate.”
