Christopher Stephen Obong Ekpenyong born 29 September 1954, in Ikot Ukana of Obot Akara local government area, Akwa Ibom) is a Nigerian politician and former Deputy governor of Akwa Ibom State.

EDUCATION
Chris Ekpenyong started his elementary coaching at St. Patrick’s Main College, Ikot Ukana and later to St. Michael’s Main College, Rumuomasi, Port Harcourt the place he obtained his First College Leaving Certificates.

CAREER
Chris Ekpenyong joined politics in 1983. He was elected to represent his constituency inside the then Cross River State House of Assembly under the platform of National Party of Nigeria (NPN).
