2023 : Peter Obi reacts to ‘small donation’ from SS2 student

The presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP) in the next month election, Peter Obi, has taken to social media to express gratitude for the donation received from a senior secondary school student.

The former Anambra governor, who described the donation by Chizzy Balogun, as small but very valuable, said the action by the young student testified to the value she placed in her future and those of others.

Obi, in a post on his verified Facebook page on Sunday, said : “My deep appreciation to Ms. Chizzy Ebube Balogun, a secondary school (SS2) student, for her small but most invaluable donation. She has invested in her future and those of her contemporaries and generations yet unborn. She is an exemplar in social consciousness.

“God bless you and your generation.”

PlatinumPost reports that Obi is tipped as one of the frontrunners in the next month Presidential Election alongside Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress and Peoples Democratic Party’s Atiku Abubakar.
