Chidi Mokeme is a Nigerian actor and reality show host. He hails from Oba in Idemili South LGA of Anambra State, South Eastern Nigeria.
He was the host of Gulder Ultimate Search Reality-show.
FAMILY
He He was born on the 17th of March, 1972 in Anambra.
Chidi is married to Jean Olumba Mokeme, his brilliant and attractive wife.
On April 28, 2012, they exchanged vows. She was bred and currently resides in the United States of America, where she also practices medicine and pharmacy.
Their son, Noah Mokeme, was born to him and his wife, Jean.
The actor also has a seventeen year old son. The name of his teenage son is Emem Daniel Mokeme, and his mum is Adia Ukoyen.
Chidi Mokeme and Adia Ukoyen were in a relationship many years ago which led to the birth of Emem.
Adia Ukoyen, a journalist, was recently the Personal Assistant on Media to Godswill Obot Akpabio when he was the Governor of Akwa Ibom.
Interestingly Adia Ukoyen got married in 2012, the same day Chidi Mokeme married his wife.
EDUCATION
He attended Salvation Army Primary School, in Surulere, Lagos and Federal Government College, Minna, Niger State, for his Primary education and Secondary Education respectively.
He studied Computer Science at the Institute of Management Technology, Enugu before going into acting as a career.
CAREER
The tall, handsome, baritone-voiced and amiable young man has since been in the movie industry far back 1995 and made his first appearance in the movies titled Goodbye Tomorrow and Burden of Vengeance.
He is a former business man who turned Nollywood actor.
Chidi, whose major career has been modeling, made his mainstream acting debut in the 1998 thriller-drama “Rapture” directed by Fred Amata.
His breakthrough role as an actor was in the 2003 drama, thriller, and action film “Abuja Connection,” directed by Michael Ezeanyaeche, Ojiofor Ezeanyaeche, and Adim Williams.
In addition to this, Chidi has appeared in a variety of films and shorts, including Kids Are Angry (2001), Married to a Witch (2001), Armageddon King (2003), Promise Me Forever (2004), His Majesty (2004), Blood Battle (2005), ’76 (2016), Akachi (2020), Entangle (2021), The Therapist (2021), Bamboozler (2022), Half Heaven (2022), and others as well as the Shanty Town (2023).
The actor who recently appeared in the recently released “Shanty Town” series admitted that he suffered from Bell’s Palsy.
This disorder causes a sudden weakening of the muscles on one side of the face.
