Wife of the Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, Mrs. Silifat Sule, has commenced a state-wide campaign tour to solicit support for the reelection of her husband and Bola Tinubu.
Sule is seeking a return for second term on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in election scheduled for February 2023.
The governor’s campaign train has visited all the zones of the state seeking for votes from the electorates.
His wife is targeting the female folks, which were said to represent about 60 percent of the voting population in the state.
At the campaign rally in Akwanga on Saturday, Mrs. Sule spoke on the need for the electorates to vote for all the APC candidates during the February general elections.
He said her husband performed creditably and deserve to be returned to consolidate on the good work he is doing across the state.
Mrs Sule also called on women to support the party’s presidential candidate, Mr. Bola Tinubu, who she said, left a track record of performance as the governor of Lagos State.
She particularly urged the women to ensure they obtain their Permanent Voters Register (PVC) to enable them exercise their franchise during the elections.
She said,“It is only with the PVCs that you can vote Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Gov. Abdullahi Sule and other APC candidates in the general election.
“Voting Tinubu, My husband and other APC candidates will enable you and others to enjoy much needed dividends of democracy.
“As APC Government at both the national and state levels have performed well and still doing well by touching peoples’ lives positively.”
