The Director of Communication of Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Council, Dele Momodu, has taken to social media to narrate how he helped secured orphanage home for a 11-year-old boy in Ondo State.
The former PDP presidential aspirant in a post on his verified social media page on Thursday, said he was contacted by one Oluwakemisola, who told 8 that the boy was allegedly kicked out from home by his father following his mother’s decision to embrace prostitution.
Momodu said he swung into action and contacted Tolulola Bayode of Dorian Homes, who accepted the boy in the orphanage home.
His words : “I’m in tears of JOY this afternoon. Yesterday was a very sad day because of a message I received from Idanre, in Ondo State: “Good morning sir.
” My name is Oluwakemisola and am chatting from Idanre sir
Sir I am chatting you on behalf of a 11year old boy whose parent sent out because his mother left his father to start a prostitution job.
“She said the boy is a baggage for her and for four days now the boy has been sleeping in shops, sawmill or uncompleted buildings and not going to school or eating.
“Please sir we soliciting for help to either refer us to an orphanage home sir or any help whatsoever sir just to take him off the street sir so he won’t think of doing something stupid or joining bad gangs or even kidnapped…”
“I was confused at first not knowing how they got my number. But after watching the video of the little boy, I was heartbroken… Even in his desperate state, he looked smart, confident and hopeful…
” So I swung into action, called DR TOLULOLA BAYODE of DORIAN HOMES, a top notch orphanage on the border of Akure and Idanre… Within minutes, she confirmed she would accept the boy and by this afternoon, the paperworks have been completed…
” DR TOLULOLA BAYODE, how can I ever thank you enough… I will make my own contributions towards supporting DORIAN HOMES, by the grace of almighty GOD… May God continue to bless you mightily.”
