 Gunmen kidnap lady mother in Kogi demand N20m ransom

Gunmen have kidnapped a lady, one Mohammed Sheriffa, and her mother in Kogi.

According to a report by EbiraReporters, the gunmen are demanding the sum of twenty million naira from the family to set them free.

The victims were on their way to the neighbouring Edo state when their vehicle was attacked and they were whisked away by the gunmen, a family member, Aisha Momoh revealed.

She acknowledged contact with the abductors, and called on the public to help raise fund for the ransom.

“We’ve been able to get across to the kidnappers and they placed a sum of 20M for ransom . She’s asking us to put this out there. She’s asking for our help. This isn’t a pleasant thing to happen to anyone. Any amount would go a long way.”
