President Muhammadu Buhari has summoned an emergency meeting with head of security agencies in the country.
A statement issued on Sunday by the presidency, said the meeting which would hold on Monday, will review the security situation in the country.
The statement also said the president has postponed the commissioning of National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) complex earlier scheduled for Monday.
The statement read in full : “President Muhammadu Buhari will on Monday meet with security chiefs in the nation’s capital, Abuja, to further review and strengthen security network in the country.
” The President, who was initially scheduled to commission the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) new Technology and Innovation Complex, will receive briefs from the security chiefs, and interject on areas that need more attention.
“The commissioning of the NASENI complex will hold at a later date.”
