 Accord Party gets new national chairman

One of the main political parties in the country, Accord Party, has elected Reverend Adebayo Adeniyi as its new national chairman.

Adeniyi was unanimously elected in Abuja during the Party’s Special Convention to elect new officials of the Party.

The special convention which was witnessed by the officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has delegates of the Party from the 36 States and the FCT in attendance.

In his acceptance speech, Reverend Adebayo Adeniyi thanked all the delegates at the convention for giving him their mandates.

Reverend Adeniyi promised to lead Accord Party to victory at all levels during the 2023 general election.

He also promised to operate an open door policy and called for the support and cooperation of all members of the Party towards making the Party victorious in next year’s elections.

While expressing concern over the state of Nigeria’s security and economy, Reverend Adeniyi advised Nigerians to vote all candidates of his Party in 2023 poll towards ensuring a better Nigeria.

According to him, the Party has what it takes to repositioning the country for better through its health, education, economy and poverty reduction programmes.

He stressed the need for all Nigerians most especially the youths to ensure the emergence of credible leaders come next year.

Reverend Adeniyi also emphasised the need for INEC, security agencies, politicians and all stakeholders to ensure a free, fair and credible 2023 general election.
