The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 general elections, Atiku Abubakar, on Saturday visited Gombe.
The former Vice President, who was in the North-East state for a wedding ceremony, said he was thrilled by thousands of supporters that trooped out to welcome him.
The Adamawa-born politician, who took to his verified social media pages with the pictures of the crowd, said he almost mistook the reception he received for a political rally.
“Wedding or rally ? I just landed in Gombe for a wedding, but the love and reception are so massive, I had to ask myself this question. Thank you. -AA,” Atiku said.
