 Baptist cleric admonishes Christian youths to be good ambassadors of their families Nigeria

 

The Undershepherd of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Old Kutunku, Gwagwalada Abuja, Reverend Adeyemi Adewuyi, has admonished Christian youths to always be good ambassadors of their families to ensure the betterment of the country.

Reverend Adewuyi gave the admonition in a sermon to mark the 2022 Royal Ambassador Sunday Service in Gwagwalada Abuja.

The Baptist cleric, who expressed concern over the attitude of some Christian youths, stressed the need for them to always shun crimes and immoral acts to attract God’s blessings in their endeavour.

He also enjoined them to be steadfast in faith and prayers to overcome challenges in their day to day activities and career.

While identifying formal education as key to success in life, Reverend Adewuyi advised them to take their academic pursuit very serious to enable them contribute their quota to national development.

In a remark, the Grand Patron of the Church Royal Ambassador Chapter, Prof. Siyan Peter enjoined parents to always encourage their children to effectively participate in Royal Ambassador activities to boost their spiritual growth.

On his part, Prof. Siyan Peter, whom the Royal Ambassador’s Chapter is named after, also urged parents to always render financial support to RA programmes to further enhance their spiritual growth and benefits.

While advising the R A members to shun acts detrimental to the essence of RA, Prof Peter called on other Christian youths to develop keen interest in RA to enable them to be useful in God’s vineyard.

Speaking on the theme of the RA Sunday Service which is “Breakout, Moment Of Divine Manifestation” Ambassador Emmanuel Eluy said the occasion was to further appreciate the roles and contributions of Royal Ambassadors to Christiandom in line with the Nigerian Baptist Convention, NBC, doctrine.

Ambassador Eluy said the Church’s Royal Ambassador’ has put in place various programmes that would enable members to have breakthrough and divine manifestation in their endeavours.

Highlights of the service is the decoration of promoted RA members to their new ranks and parade, among others.
