Troops of Nigerian Army have rescued another girl that was among the female students abducted by Boko Haram terrorists from Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State in 2014.
The rescue of Hauwa Joseph alongside her daughter, which was made known in a terse post on the verified Facebook page of the Nigerian Army on Thursday, is coming barely 24 hours after another abducted student- Mary Ngoshe- was intercepted and taken to safety by Nigerian troops in Borno State.
The Nigerian Army’s statement on Hauwa’s rescue, which was seen by PlatinumPost, read : “Troops during clearance operations on 14 June 2022 intercepted another abducted girl from GGSS Chibok named Hauwa Joseph, who was kidnapped by Boko Haram on 14 April 2014. The intercepted Chibok girl & her baby are currently in a military medical facility.”
