How APC PDP plunged Nigeria into economic woes ADC chairman

The National Chairman of the African Democratic Party (ADC), Ralph Okey Nwosu, has blamed the current economic challenges in the country on bad governance by the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Nwosu, who stated made this while inaugurating executive members of ADC in the seven Northwest states in Kano over the weekend, said the two dominant political parties have used their stint in power to foist unnecessary hardship and troubles for Nigerians.

He said when PDP came to power, Nigerian economy was among the best in Africa, with foreign reserve hitting over 15 billion US dollars, adding that the fortune was however revised due to poor economic managers and brazen looting of the scarce resources at hand.

A statement issued by Abubakar Adamu, Public Relations Officer of ADC, Kano State Chapter, said the party chairman also carpeted the ruling APC and accused it of ineptitude and insensitivity to the plight of an ordinary citizen of Nigeria.

While saying the ruling party has failed Nigerians in all parameters of development, Nwosu said if it were in advanced countries, the President should have resigned owing to the monumental failure associated with his administration.

The ADC Chairman lamented that the present suffering in the country was brought about by lack of adequate knowledge knowledge of the economy by APC government and failure to heed expert advice on how to tackle some of the major economic problems.

He appealed to Nigerians to use the broom and sweep away APC forever from the nation’s political system.
