Terrorists abduct Zamfara transport company s MD family members

The Managing Director of the Zamfara State Mass Transit, Aminu Papa and members of his family were on Saturday night kidnapped at his resistance at the Mareri area of Gusau, the State capital.

According to a report by Daily Post, it was gathered that there was a serious gun battle between the terrorists and the local vigilante groups during the abduction.

The encounter forced the kidnappers to release a member of the family but escaped with the Managing Director.

“Yet, the vigilante groups still pursued the bandits; as a result of tension, they shot the MD on the foot and released him,” another source said.
