Bauchi State governor, Bala Mohammed, says he has allocated land for a new university to be established by Jamma’atul Izalatul Bid’a Waiqamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS).
The governor made this known in a post on his verified Facebook page on Sunday.
He said: “At the 2022 preaching session organised by Jamma’atul Izalatul Bid’a Waiqamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS) held at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium Bauchi.
“I expressed gratitude to JIBWIS for choosing Bauchi for this year’s event. I also appreciate the commitment of Izalah to the promotion of Islamic knowledge for the benefit of Muslims, and assured them of my administration’s support for more success.
“At the event, I announced land allocation for the construction of JIBWIS Islamic University in Bauchi. I assured the people of the State that my administration would continue to initiate and implement policies and programmes aimed at improving their well-being.”
