Kogi State’s deputy governor, David Onoja and former governor Idris Wada were among the dignitaries that graced the dinner party to celebrate the new rank of ex-Aide-De-Camp to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Ojogbane Adegbe.
PlatinumPost reports that Ojogbane was recently promoted from Colonel to Brigadier General.’
He was amongst several senior officers promoted to the next rank by the Army Council on Tuesday the 21st of December 2021. A total of 41 Brigadier Generals were meritoriously promoted to the enviable rank of Major General, while 76 Colonels were also elevated to the rank of Brigadier General.
In a Facebook page on Saturday, the Kogi deputy governor congratulated Ojogbane on his new rank.
He said: “Promotion Dinner Reception for my brother, Brigadier General Ojogbane Adegbe. Glory be to God Almighty.
“I am the Lord, when it is time, I, the Lord will make it happen” – Isaiah 60:22.
“Congratulations the Adegbe’s.”
