“Two years ago, today, justice was delivered to Ndi Imo, as I reclaimed our People’s mandate at the Supreme Court. PlatinumPost recalls that the declaration of Uzodinma as a governor by the Supreme Court in a split judgement took many Nigerians by surprise.

INEC had earlier declared Emeka Ihedioha of the People Democratic Party as the winner, before the Justice Muhammad Tanko led Supreme Court ruled that Uzodinma was the rightful elected candidate in the poll following his ability to prove irregularities in the election.

Uche Nwosu and Ifeanyi Ararume came second and third respectively in the results announced by INEC.
