Chelsea have defeated Arsenal in their pre-season charity friendly at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
In the game, Kai Havertz gave Chelsea the lead in the 26th minute. Xhaka brought Gunners level in the 69th minute while Tammy Abraham restores Chelsea’s advantage after Bellerin’s error in the 71st minute.
Chelsea have played two friendlies so far this summer, beating Peterborough and Bournemouth, and saw their training camp in Ireland disrupted by a positive Covid-19 case.
Arsenal too have had their preparations hampered by coronavirus which saw them have to cancel their participation in the Florida Cup.
The Gunners have played four friendlies so far, beating Millwall and Watford 4-1 while losing to Hibernian and drawing with Rangers.
