Iragbiji community in Osun State was thrown into confusion on Friday, after a man died after eating at a naming ceremony.
The residents said the deceased, who ate at a child naming ceremony, slumped after the meal.
Other guests expressed suprise over the sudden demise of the man, saying he was not the only one that ate at the party even as others alleged he was poisoned.
Some aggrieved youths in the community staged a protest over the incident.
The Aragbiji of Iragbijiland, Abdulrosheed Olabomi, confirmed the death of the man.
The monarch said the real cause of his death could not be ascertained as only autopsy can unravel the mystery behind the incident.
