Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is meeting with former Cross River Governor Donald Duke, Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Duke arrived at the State House at about 4:30 pm and headed straight to the office of the Vice President.
Although the agenda of the meeting was not made public, sources at the Vice President’s office said it was a private session.
Duke governed Cross River State from 1999 to 2007 and was famously known for his tourism initiative.
He established Tinapa and made the Obudu Cattle Ranch more popular.
In 2019, he was a presidential aspirant on the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
