The Management of Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO), has urged some of its customers who are rejecting the use of meters to desist from such act.
The company said distribution of meters under the ongoing zero phase is free and should not be bought by its customers.
It said embracing the use of meter will help customers to monitor their energy consumption.
According to the Management, the metering drive initiative being pursued by KEDCO and Federal Government is a conscious strategy to end estimated billing, hence it is free.
