Security operatives in Delta State have rescued a kidnapped victim, Mr Emmanuel Piopio from his abductors in Ophor Agbarho, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
Three persons have been arrested in connection with the incident.
Piopio was kidnapped last Sunday along Ekwere road before a popular hotel in the area.

Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome Onowakpoyeya confirmed the incident, saying that” we have rescued the victim from the den of kidnappers and two persons: Ogaga Champion from Ododegho , Evans Emogarian from Orhunakpor in Ethiope East and a yet to be Identified woman that allegedly supplies fund to the suspects have been arrested.”
A source who spoke on condition of anonymity disclosed that”Emmanuel Piopo was kidnapped along Ekewere road before Sakito hotels and whisked away to an unknown destination by gunmen in his SUV,” adding that it was a joint operation by the police, army and vigilante that rescued the victim in Ophori Agbarho community bush.
