Dangote business method uninspiring, thrives on monopoly – Aisha Yesufu

A frontline ‘Bring Back Our Girls’ campaigner and socio-political activist, Aisha Yesufu, has questioned the business methods adopted by Nigerian renowned industrialist and richest man in Africa, Aliko Dangote.
The activist, who was reacting to a publication on the delisting of Dangote Flour Mills from the Nigerian Stock Exchange, said the Kano-born businessman only thrives in investment areas where he enjoys monopoly and regular patronage from government.
“If Dangote is such a great business man why doesn’t he thrive where he doesn’t have monopoly?Smirking face
Mowa water
Dansa juice
Dangote flour & noodle.
“Abeg shift make I hear word. Those who are cronies of every government and grow on government patronage should not abuse our sensibilities.”

She added : “Let them give you the monopoly of selling pure water in Nigeria, you will be a billionaire.
“Or even sef, get waivers that are not given to all but a select few.”
The outspoken Yesufu, who stated this in a string of posts on her Twitter’s handle on Tuesday, however, said that she believed that Dangote works hard for his business empire.
“That Dangote works hard is not in doubt. I watched a phone in programme he did in 2001where he said he went to office 9am and doesn’t leave before 9pm. Also that the longest sleep he has is when on transatlantic flight and I was inspired but his business methods are uninspiring!”
