Many Nigerians on Twitter are clamoring for fathers to run DNA test of their children to avoid paternity fraud after Managing Director of First City Monument Bank (FCMB), Adam Nuru’s scandal broke out.
Reports involving the MD revealed that he fathered two children with a married ex-employee, Moyo Thomas (nee Ojo), whose husband, Tunde Thomas reportedly died of cardiac arrest over the matter.
The allegations were laid in a change.org petition started on December 30 seeking to “Compel the CBN & Board of FCMB to dismiss Adam Nuru on ethical grounds”.
More than 400 people have signed the petition asking the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to Nuru for unethical behaviour.
Reacting to the news, Nigerians have been debating on the issue on twitter, asking men to secretly conduct a DNA test on their children to avoid Tunde Thomas’s situation.
