
It was a joyous moment for the family of Omowumi Rhoda, on Saturday morning, as the victim of trafficking returned to the country.
Rhoda arrived the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Lagos from Egypt in the early hours of the day after the intervention by Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM).

“NiDCOM facilitated the return of Omowumi Rhoda, a victim of traffickig who just arrived this morning around 4:54 am from Cairo.
“NiDCOM staff was on hand to receive her, as she was profiled and handed over to Immigration and NAPTIP.
“Her joyous family also welcomed her back home at the MM Int’l Airport Lagos.
“Many thanks to our mission in Cairo for all the necessary logistics and support for her safe return home.
“She will proceed on self-isolation by the Presidential Task Force REVISED quarantine protocol,” the Commission led by Abike Dabiri-Erewa said.
