The President of Ghana, Prof Nana Akufo-Addo has expressed the readiness of the Ghanaian Government to consider resolutions from the Legislative Diplomacy meeting.
He expressed this while speaking to Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila during the meeting between Nigerian and Ghanaian lawmakers at the Ghanaian Parliament House.
Recall Nigerian traders lamented the amendment of a Ghanaian law which makes it compulsory for foreigners (including Nigerian traders) to have $1m as capital base to operate businesses in the West African country.
Recating to this, Gbajabiamila went on a legislative diplomatic mission to Ghana, to explore lasting solution affecting both countries.
Gbajabiamila seeked for a review of the GIPC Act to provide an enabling business environment for Nigerians doing business in Ghana.
