#RevolutionNow protesters have been arrested by the Nigerian Army in the Abuja metropolis.
The arrest took place Wednesday morning with several of the protesters who had placards and banners to demand good governance arrested.
They converged as early as 8 am at the Unity Fountain, Shehu Shagari Way, Maitama to begin their procession when they were stopped.
Their placards were reading, ‘Nigerians are sick and tired of poverty, corruption, injustice and untimely death’; ‘Say no to injustice’, ‘Yes to living wage for unemployed youths’.
In a similar situation, seven #RevolutionNow protesters were also arrested around Olaiya Area of Osogbo, Osun State capital.
Osun protesters were led by Bakare aka ‘Mandate’ with placards and dressed in orange berets.
They had converged on Correspondents’ chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists located in the area with plans to address newsmen when the Department of State Services men arrested them.
