President Muhammadu Buhari has revealed what he discussed with APC governors during its virtual meeting today.
The president said was pleased with the work the All Progressives Congress (APC) interim leaders were doing.
According to the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, Buhari stated this during Tuesday’s meeting.
The meeting also had the Vice-President, Yemi Osinbajo in attendance
“I am pleased with the chairman and the work of the committee. He is highly mobile in the efforts to coordinate and strengthen the party. I am happy with his personal efforts.” Buhari said.
Buhari had earlier met virtually with APC governors and members of Mai Mala Buni-led caretaker committee.
Recall in June, President Buhari dissolved the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC, following the suspension of Adams Oshiomhole as the National Chairman.
Buni was appointed as chairman after Oshiomhole’s suspension.
