The hearing of the appeal by the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomole, has been suspended by the court of appeal in Abuja
The hearing which was scheduled to hold today was put off by a panel of three Justices led by Justice Stephen Adah who sat to hear other cases.
The panel later rose, and assured that another panel will be reconstituted to hear Oshiomole’s appeal.
The parties were however taken aback when, rather than having a new panel, a female official of the court announced to the courtroom that the court has elected to hear Oshiomole’s appeal on a later date which woul be communicated to parties later.
Oshiomhole who was present with his supporters, told journalists when leaving, that he would await the court’s decision in the case.
The embattled chairman is challenging his suspension by an Abuja High Court which among others, restrained him acting as the National Chairman of the APC.
