Kano witnessed remarkable change in Ganduje’s first tenure- Gawuna

The Deputy Governor of Kano State, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna has said that the people of the state have witnessed remarkable changes during the first tenure of governor Abddullahi Umar Ganduje, especially in the areas of Health, Education, Economic and empowerment programmes, among others.

He assured that the ganduje administration would continue to execute more developmental projects geared towards improving the welfare of its citizenry in the second tenure.

Gawuna in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Hassan Musa Fagge, gave the assurance while receiving the Board Management and Staff of Dala Orthopedic Hospital, who paid him a Courtesy Call in his office on Tuesday.

Gawuna, according to the statement, maintained that, “it was in recognition of the importance of health to human development, Ganduje’s administration completed the work project of two gigantic Hospitals inherited from the previous administrations at Gingiyu and Zoo road to enable people utilize their services.”

He added that several other projects on health were also carried out by the administration, which include construction of new Hospitals, procurement of drugs and renovation of Health Centres across the 44 local government areas of the State.

Gawuna further congratulated the management of Dala Orthopaedic Hospital in handling the affairs of the Hospital in a more professional manner, adding that the administration of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje would continue to give it all the necessary assistance whenever the need arises.

Earlier, the Acting Board Chairman Dala Orthopaedic Hospital Alhaji Ahmed Shu’aibu said they were at the Deputy Governor’s office to congratulate him over the victory of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje in the last concluded general election and wish him the best for the task a head.

Alhaji Ahmed notified the Deputy that the Board is making arrangements to hold the 60th Anniversary of the Hospital which would be the first of its kind in the history of Dala Centre.

He therefore solicited the support and cooperation of the State Government towards achieving success of the intended event.

The Acting Chairman however appealed to the State Government to come to their aid in addressing the problem of flood that has characterized the Hospital compound.
