Africa’s richest man Alhaji Aliko Dangote, has waded into the feud between the Kano state Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and Emir of kano Muhammad Sanusi II.
PLATINUM POST reliably gathered that Dangote immediately intervened following an on-going moves by the state Assembly to create additional four Emirate councils in the state.
An impeccable source at the Government House Kano who want to remain anonymous said Dangote was sighted on Tuesday morning where he convened a meeting between the Governor and Emir Sanusi.
Although, detail of the meeting is still sketchy as at the time of filling this report, the source told this newspaper that the only agenda revolves around dropping the plan to probe Emir Sanusi of alleged misdeeds in the management of billions of naira in the Kano Emirate council.
“ As I speak to you, Dangote just arrived and he went straight into a meeting with the Governor who returned from condolence visit to Gezewa.
“He didn’t want to come to the office today but because of the death he visited the town and wanted going back before Dangote arrived.
Our reporter equally gathered that a group of Kano elders including business man Alhaji Aminu Dantata and former Presidential candidate of the National Republican Convention (NRC), Alhaji Bashir Tofa have also waded into to matter.
Tofa was sighted in the premises of the State Assembly Tuesday apparently lobbying laws makers to change their mind on the their decision to create four additional Emirates.
It would be recalled that Dangote had rescued the Emir when the kano state government launched investigation into alleged financial misappropriation by the Emir.
Dangote who intervened through the State House Assembly was accused of bribing the members with the sum of N100, 000 Million (One hundred million Naira only)
